Pickup Information
With transportation included: Hotel pickup starts at 07:00 AM WITA across Ubud, Denpasar, Seminyak, Canggu, Kuta, and Sanur. We collect you in a spacious, comfortable vehicle – exact pickup time depends on your hotel location, and we cover all areas of Bali.
Without transportation: Please arrive at the starting point no later than 09:15 AM WITA. We’ll send you the meeting point details in advance so you can head straight there to meet your guide.
Itinerary
09:30 AM WITA – Arrive at the Mount Agung registration office.
09:50 – 10:00 AM WITA – Settle in and prepare your trekking gear while warming up with hot coffee and freshly fried bananas, served by your guide at the starting point.
10:10 AM WITA – The adventure begins. Starting at 1,100 m above sea level, you’ll trek through five checkpoints along the Edelweiss route:
02:10 PM WITA – Reach the Post 5 campsite and rest area at 2,450 m. Catch your breath, hydrate, and refuel with a light breakfast – coffee or tea, bread, fried bananas, drink water and some snacks – while taking in the silent mountain night and building energy for the final push to the summit.
03:00 PM WITA – Begin the final ascent toward the peak. Estimated climbing time: 2 hours.
05:00 PM WITA – Stand on the true summit of Mount Agung at 3,142 m just as the sun breaks the horizon. Watch the sky shift through gold and crimson as Mount Batur emerges below you, with Mount Rinjani rising on the distant Lombok skyline on clear afternooj. Your guide will capture stunning photos and videos so you can fully soak in the moment.
06:10 PM WITA – After savoring the views, begin the descent from the summit.
10:00 PM WITA – Arrive back at the Edelweiss starting point, where your driver will be waiting to take you home.
10:30 PM WITA – Depart for your hotel or homestay.
12:00 AM WITA – Arrive at your accommodation. Tour concludes, with memories (and photos) to last a lifetime.
